2x Pulitzer Prize Winner David Gaub McCullough

Mr. David McCullough stopped by the studio yesterday while on a research trip for his new book which includes some history on American Sculptors. He was thrilled to have the opportunity to ask many questions and study a contemporary studio which is not at all different from the studio's of the sculptors he is writing about (outside of the cd's, iphone and computer). It was quite an honor to have such an incredible talent in the studio and he enjoy himself so much he is planning a second trip back to pick up the piece he commissioned and perhaps get his hands into the clay a bit!

"To me history ought to be a source of pleasure. It isn't just part of our civic responsibility. To me it's an enlargement of the experience of being alive, just the way literature or art or music is."— David McCullough
