Casting/cleaning/carving

The big piece is being cast as we speak. It is coming along smoothly and we are looking at another opening day unveiling ceremony and Hawkeye victory. The studio..well it looks like a tornado hit it but we are working on that. I can say that the relief came down a hell-a-va lot faster than it went up! Presently I am working on the Vintners Hall of Fame reliefs for the Culinary Institute of America, I believe that the next induction dinner is March 8, 2008.
Regards, LJN

So you all are coming out to Iowa City for the first home game, right? Are you going to tailgate somewhere the Hawkeye masses can stop by and thank you?

The first game on Sept 8 is a 7:05 kick off - Melrose Ave will be utter bedlam. Our night game record isn't so good, but the extra time means people are more revved up.

I'll look forward to meeting & thanking you there :)

The one and only time I saw Melrose Ave before a Hawkeye game it was utter bedlam!

By the way...for the record let me say I should be thanking the U of I and the people of Iowa not the other way around. If the rest of the world had the attitude of Iowa we would all be much better off.
Melrose here we come!
