Next step
This is a shot of the rubber and the structure (mother mold) made to back the rubber. The grey strips in the bottom right corner is the clay wall used to separate sections.
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through in once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone.”
-Audrey Hepburn

Rubber application
Six layers of rubber must be applied to each "section" of the mold before a plaster "mother mold" can be created on top of it.
A "section" is created by putting up a clay wall on the perimeter of an area of the mold approx.3'x3'. These sections are manageble for one person to work on during the casting process.
A "mother mold" is a plaster backing added to the rubber to insure the rubber keeps its form while casting from it.
